Welcome to the home page for the Dublin Airport bike scheme. This is
a scheme providing bicycles for airport staff (currently DAA staff
only) to aid travel around the airport between some of the often
visited sites. Here you will find some general information on where
the bikes are, who can use them and how to get your membership card.
The bikes are distributed at key locations throughout the airport
environment. A map showing the general locations of the bikes can be
found
here.
The bikes are kept locked to specifically designed bike stations using a locking mechanism that requires a smart card and PIN number that you will receive once your membership of the scheme is approved. In this way the bikes will be available to members 24hrs a day. You can lock the bikes back into any of the airport bike stations.
To join the scheme fill in the online form
here. When your employment with DAA has been
confirmed you will be sent your membership card and PIN number in an
information pack. There is no cost for the membership card or for
using the bikes for DAA staff.
Frequently asked questions and answers can be found here.
For further information on the bike system itself contact Hourbike on support@hourbike.com or call 1-443-3613. DAA staff please contact the transport team for company specific questions.
